Oklahoma is home to many large bodies of water, with many of them being man-made. One of the most impressive of these man-made lakes is Lake Keystone, located in northeastern Oklahoma. With a total surface area of over 21,000 acres, Lake Keystone is the largest man-made lake in Oklahoma.

Lake Keystone was formed in 1969 when the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers dammed the Arkansas River. The man-made lake stretches across three counties: Tulsa, Creek, and Okmulgee. The lake is renowned for its excellent fishing, with a variety of species, such as Largemouth Bass, Crappie, and Catfish, being found in the waters.
The lake is home to many parks, such as Keystone State Park, Robert S. Kerr Reservoir, and Keystone Lake State Park. These parks provide visitors with plenty of opportunities for camping, hiking, and picnicking. There are also many campgrounds located on the lake, offering a wide range of amenities and activities for visitors.
