What Country Has the Largest Population

“The People’s Republic of China (simplified Chinese: 中华人民共和国; traditional Chinese: 中華人民共和國; Pinyin: Zhōngwěi Rénmín Gònghé Guó) (commonly abbreviated as China) is a country in East Asia, situated in the eastern part of the Asian continent.

Beijing is the capital and largest city.

The country is sometimes known with different names in English such as The Chinese Empire, Republic of China or People’s Republic of China depending on what is being referenced. This information on the largest nation on Earth is from the website of the CIA.

China has the largest population at around 1.4 billion, but India has a larger percentage of its population live in cities – about 43% compared to 19% in China. This is a good thing because it provides more opportunities for work and higher quality of life, among other benefits. As for the United States with 300 million people, that means that they have a lot more resources available to them, so it balances out as being the third largest country in size only after Russia and Canada according to my research on Wikipedia!
