What Is The Shortest Route Across America?

The shortest route across America is not a straight line. Instead, it follows the contours of the country, winding its way through cities and towns, mountains and valleys. The journey begins in New York City and ends in San Francisco. Along the way, it passes through some of America's most iconic landscapes, including the Grand Canyon and Yellowstone National Park. The route is just over 2,800 miles long and takes approximately two weeks to complete.
